+1,
this is a great demo, and in my ears, Genos is the best sounding Yammaha arranger so far. 👍

I agree... the best Yamaha arranger to date.

Me too, I think it sounds great, but soooooo much money. Too much, I think. Reminds me of when Technics could charge whatever they wanted to for a quality arranger, cuz they weren't sold in MI stores.

In the keyboard arena, I think the 900 is the best example of a "jr." model that has ever been produced. You'd expect the flagship tp have more bells, and whistles at the elevated price. I actually think this is the first true "baby" model of anything. I'm buying it, hoping it IS baby Genos, with speakers. What the Genos has, I don't need. This kb, so far (in spec, and demos) looks like a real home run.

G70, true baby model was an E60

E80 , baby model was an E50

G800, baby was a G600

You might not like it... PA4x, baby was a PA1000

It sounds brilliant, but an awful lot of money. Lot of bells and whistles I’d probably never use, same as on PA4x.
Losing a third of one’s investment within 3 years or so, might be ok on a $2k keyboard but hurts on a $5k one. How many of us don’t want the newer model when it arrives.
