the vocals sounded distorted , especially the harmonies. a little too much reverb on the vocals(just my preference of just a little). other than the above, nice sound , fairly good mix and a nice song.

Terry, the vocals are extremely distorted, particularly on the vocals, way over driven. You're not the first person to do this - it happens a lot early on.

What keyboard and recording device were used to make this? If it's one of the newer PSR S series Yamaha's I may be able to help you clean up the recording issues.

Good luck and don't be discouraged - all of these things can be ironed out.

Terry, interestingly, I listened on my phone and didn't find any distortion, in fact I thought it was one of your clearer vocal efforts ...
While you took the earlier advice and used the harmony more sparingly, its volume could still be a little lower ...
I think those of us who use the VH - on board or external - would agree that 'less is more' and most times all that is needed is one harmony voice above yours ...
Keep at it ...

Gary,my keyboard is a Roland E80,I have an XLR Samson microphone
connected to the mic input and stereo ouputs to a Phillips CD recorder.Vocals are directly from the E80 VH.It looks like I need to experiment with the balancing in the VH,or I may be too near
the mic.Thanks for helping.
