One More Christmas Tune with a Yamaha Style - 12/16/18 05:12 AM

Dug up one last tune recorded on Tyros using a style. In this case, we even used the bass line in the style. Almost never do that!

Curt, do you have a recording of Ric's work using the Integra7?

I would like to hear comparisons to the other recordings.

Everything sounds great..

Fran - Maybe. Let me do some digging. We did use it on some tunes. We don't have the files grouped by the instrument used. I need to poke around based on dates recorded. What we do have would be all GM & GM2 stuff done for some customers. I don't think we ever released anything using the "other" voices in the Integra. Stay tuned. Out for the rest of the day but I'll take a look sometime on Monday.

Also in the mix of files will be some GM and GM2 files records on a Roland KR-15 Digital Piano. Pretty sure I have more of those than things from the Integra.

Fran - I've been poking around some this morning, and I did find some tunes that were done on Roland. As mentioned above we did a series of GM and GM2 format files, and we used a couple of different Roland units in the process. One was the Integra, but it really doesn't sound any different than some of the other Roland units we were using at the time since they all were leveraging the basic GM maps.

Said another way I don't have anything that we recorded that would show off what the Integra can really do... frown

Curt how about some newly recorded Roland Integra recordings of some Christmas songs instead...?

We sold the Interga to Fran a couple of months ago. At this point, we don't have any Roland gear in-house.
