Nancy Wilson is gone.... - 12/14/18 11:06 AM
Just read that Nancy Wilson, the great 60's and 70's song stylist just died.
I backed her in Lexington years ago, after her prime period as a major draw.
She was late, a little bossy, but, man, when he sang, everything was WONDERFUL!

A lot of people covered 'Guess who I saw today', but nobody even came close to her version. Sad.

The only song I clearly remember her singing was The Very Thought Of You, which was incredible. She made it to age 81 and had lived a wonderful life.

Sorry to hear another "talent" is gone. Only 81... Golly that hits close to home. Interesting background story, Russ. She will be missed.
