I love the formfactor of this arranger
Just close the lid. And its safe to cary it everywhere.

Makes you realise how far we got in the last 33 years.

Nice to see the 'old stuff'.
Brings back memories, and as you say, it's sure have been some progress during the years.
Btw, it's easy to see where Technics got the idea to the sxKN7000.
Could never like the edges at left and right for the keys....

I had one of those. Had to use external drums and sound modules, but it at least drove the bass line and chords. Cutting edge at the time. Seems it used a cassette for user programs, but that may have been 6100.

Wow, I'm amazed that someone still has one in such good condition and is so knowledgeable about it. I kind of wonder why anyone would even want one now. If that was cutting edge back in the day, it makes me wonder what the current top of the line arranger keyboards that most of us lust after will sound like to us in 30 years?

Yes, I had the 6100 then later the 6300...I was much younger then !!!
Generally a nice board but...The bass samples were very poor.

Hussein Vally launched his singing career at the durban city hall south africa back in 89 with this keyboard. Capacity crowd at the hall. It was the best back then

Hi

My first one-manual keyboard. Was really great at that time. Fantastic design! Replaced a B 55N home organ.

I had one also, and thought it the best board there was.
