Youtube rules!!!!!!

The last few days I spent a few hours "slowing down" Gypsy Jazz recordings to hear the notes. Suddenly I remembered Youtube. Sure enough there it was...

So far on Youtube I've learned how to speak spanish, how to change my muffler, how to peel a hard-boiled egg, and now GJ. Amazing...I don't think there's anything on Youtube you can't find!

Some say you tube & the internet is the ruination of our society as we know it ...I enjoy certain things on YT mostly for information & learning tool vs enjoyment....

Not in our house! ... I have two rules which everyone knows and adheres to: no electronics and no hats at the table ...

Actually, I am ... my grandchildren seek me out, as do my son's friends ...
It's not too difficult to stay 'disconnected' for an hour or so during dinner ...
I see too many parents just let their kids do what they want ...
As my mother-in-law used to say when she saw how society was changing "I'm glad I don't have that much longer ..."
For me, it's the last quarter of a very interesting game ...

sadly its only gonna get alot worse..hang in there

Tony and I have the same house rules! My kids love to come here, mainly because dear old dad usually serves up a great dinner hot off the grill.
