Feelin' better decided to record a song.. - 07/19/18 12:57 PM

After my ordeal in the hospital last week I am finally starting to feel a little better. A friend of mine is having a 60th Anniversary and asked me if I could record their Wedding song for them as a gift on CD. So I took a shot at it first using the KORG Pa1000 backing track feature and added some multitracks and of course the vocal on top of this beautiful
Tony Bennet Classic written by Jule Styne, with lyrics by Sammy Cahn "It's Magic"

enjoy

Thank you everyone for listening, especially Nigel for the opportunity to have this great outlet to share our talents on SZ,...you are all too kind. Yesterday afternoon as I recorded this song I thought how truly blessed I am to get through my illness and lucky enough to still be able to play music which is truly the Magic Medicine that heals all. Last week I was in a different place mentally, physically and financially when I posted the KORG PA1000 for sale. When Don Mason & Fran Carango called me to see how I was doing both told me KEEP your KORG Pa1000 keyboard your gonna miss it too much. After much thought and some workaround medical financial solutions for now I have decided to keep it and enjoy playing it. I know it's the right decision at this time.

Paul, Wrinkles,......
Your both very welcome, glad I could share some work with you both.
I'm a stickler for the great classic songs such as this which have inspired me growing up,...
hope to record some more down the road also. Korg's recording features in the Pa1000 are more suited for my needs as a singer/player I am exploring them deeper as time goes on. Take care
