sorry I already have PS 1,2,3,4, but thanx for your concern. oh yeah btw did you ever video your practice session with the new cam?..just sayin'
I think this is a very good demonstration of the Genos, but know full well I am not in Martin's league. I am more of a straight bread and butter musician, and won't pretend I will take full advantage of it's creative possibilities. My Pa4x has more possibilities than I will ever get to, but they are now in the same league IMHO.
124 has me thinking about harmonizer usage these last few weeks. What is the man in this video doing at marker 12:40 with the female voice. I'm guessing he had a lady sing the line and recorded it as a wave file or as a sampled sound that he triggers with a pad? I'm not even sure what I'm saying here as I'm not that much into present day technology....it's like a full time job keeping up with it all.
But 124 got me thinking more and more about what you can do with a harmonizer and a sampler, and some creative ideas.
To my credit, I've been thinking for years about how to sing a duet (man and woman) by myself. My favorite duet being "only Make Believe" from Showboat (as it is starting at around 03:25).
My primitive thinking was to have a lady sing to a rhythm machine (many feet away) set at a certain speed and have the recorder set up so only her voice is recorded. Then set it up as a sample that is triggered by me while I'm playing at that same speed. This way I could sing along with her.
Hence I'm wondering what HE is doing in this video?

Just wanted to reiterate that the rough live track I posted involved no sampling of any kind. It's just me singing lead and the wife singing through the harmonizer. Everything 'stock' on the Pa1xPro in style play mode.
I thought you posted this for folks still on the fence about buying Genos.
I was on the fence for a while but the more I listened and watched I fell father away,...... I just can't get past that it sounds too close to Tyros 4/5 s970ish for me,....sorry....
Does anyone know what the man in this video is doing at marker 12:40 with the female voice. Technologically speaking, how did he get it and how is he using it .....and anything else?

I haven’t tried this with my Genos but singing can be recorded on the Genos and connected to a multipad.
Donny ... I just realized I never responded to this post ... thank you for posting it ... I remember the first time I heard this song it was being sung by a young lady in a lounge at the Bellaggio Hotel in Las Vegas ... it has been a favorite of mine ever since ...
