Genos 61 rumor

In a few weeks at musikmesse we will se a 61 version of the Genos..
Thats a rumor comming from Germany..

To be honest, I don't believe it, but if it's true, there are a couple of people going to get theyr dreams come true ......

Hope it's true for those wanting one. I was skeptical about going from 76 to 61, but now have a love affair with the 4X 61. I actually like it better

I have always like 61 better than 76 - just seems more natural to place my little finger of my left hand on the C note. I guess we will soon find out if this is the case, and if so, maybe the price will be a bit less, which means a lot of folks will cough up the bucks for a lower priced Genos, especially if all other things are the same.

Genos 76 - $5499 MAP
Genos 61 - $4999 MAP?
PSR-S975 - $1999 MAP

I think the 975 is safe at that price point.

A portable 88-note Genos?!? Not gonna happen... eats into Clavinova sales!

I doubt $500 less...maybe $200...the cost is very small to have 76 vs 61...
Also, they would need new case....Maybe they won't think it's worth it??
We will see...anything can happen....

I really wander what the next PSR TOTL will be and when?

Just look at the price difference of Tyros5 61/76..approx $300-500

I doubt your gonna see that anytime soon I hear they are phasing out the PSR S series,....what comes next for a Yamaha MOTL arranger 2k$$ unit if up in the air at this point....they are pushing genos hard.

I think i did, and i never break my promises... altough, i would want to combine it with a Montage or a nord stage... meaning i would have to trade my whole chebang...

Me personally I'd rather see a MOXF replacement as I really like their synth sounds!

In that case, I am looking forward to working with you into a SD90.

I just found out, it was someone’s April fools joke..
A weird sense of humore these Germans have...

why would yamaha shoot themselves in the foot? 76 serves the 61 & 88 key player just fine.....
and the "POLLS" say so the people have spoken.
