Nice, Fran. G-70 sounds good. Makes me wish I'd at least taken the one I bought out of the box once.

Donny, I traded mine, still in the box, without even turning it on, to Zuki, for an SD-5. It's been turned on twice.
The deal breaker on the G-70 was a the lack of a selection of drum breaks. That was a deal breaker for me. There were work-arounds, but not worth the effort, in my opinion.

Fran, that makes me a little sad. I read the deal about no drum breaks somewhere, and never even opened the box.
Probably my loss. Played one for a few minutes at Summer NAMM. Was going to mess with it a minute, but a small crowd was gathering, and I went into "musician" mode. Made some good contacts at Roland, and got a great deal and some demo work from them.
MY BAD!

Ain't it amazin' how great we can sound with some excellent vocalist standing in front of us. Plus, the gals Fran had on stage were much better to look at than Fran.

Good job, Fran,
Gary
