Wow, I've got a Note8 which probably has the same camera and I can't believe how good the quality of that video is. I did a four videocam test shoot when I got my little Q2n, and I don't think any of them was as clean, audio or video, as your video. I'm going to test mine TOMORROW. BTW, that Genos is one clean sounding board.

Tx. I’m amazed at the video quality as well from a phone. The Galaxy 8 didn’t capture all the sound..but a good semblance.

I’m also amazed at how old the guy in the video looks.

One other thing. This little video clip was a learning experience in sound.

I watched/listened to this video on both my Galaxy 8 and my iPad. To me, the sound was actually more accurate to the real thing on my Galaxy 8.

Also, neither the Galaxy or the iPad really produced a sound any where near as good as the Genos/Bose S1 combo sounds to me live.

By the way, this 2:45 video took about 10 minutes to upload and another 3 to 4 minutes for YouTube to render.

Rog, I told you you'd like love the Genos, thanks for sharing. Great video quality as others have already written. Speaking of putting a face to the name, you're a dead ringer for a sales manager I worked for in the wholesale liquor business back in the 1970s.

What a enchanting performance of a lovely tune. This has inspired me to revisit this mystical melody. You can get the sheet music here:

The tune has an interesting history of consisting of a lawsuit against Paul Simon vs the composer's son. English translation "The Condor Passes".

This keyboard thing has been a real gift.

You can notice my left hand trembling in the video..

The shaking, in both hands, started about five years ago...somehow associated with the myelodysplastic syndrome I have. Made playing guitar/mandolin, my main instruments very difficult.

But keyboard seems to work and I would play for the sheer fun of it even if I didn’t gig. However, having started playing keys for the first time in my life around age 63, I don’t expect I’ll be doing any Carnegie Hall concerts on keyboard anytime soon.

That's what's all about, have fun, enjoy, and if it works like medicine in a grey everyday, it's even better.



Wondering about how many of the 'arranger SZ gang' is expecting to reach that goal within reasonable time, or has been there to play at all?
For me it would have been a unforgetable and great experience just to sit down among the audience to see and listen.

Been there, Done that ... 17 years old, playing in an accordion 'symphony' orchestra ... One of the numbers we played was Tchaikovsky's Capriccio Italien ... Walking through the back halls of that famous venue WAS an UNBELIEVABLE and unforgettable experience ...

That was a nice audio video production Rog. The music choice goes pleasingly well with your beautiful lakeview out the window. I forget now at which moment it was in the timeline, but I think I saw a Condor fly by during the song. or maybe it was just the power of suggestion from the music.

What a beautiful specimen that Eagle is and a great attractive variety of other species you captured. Nicely captured! It's a nice way to preserve them for the memory.

Here's one I did but I cheated and took this at the Roger Williams Park Zoo. Actually it was taken with a Canon sx50 bridge camera that I picked up for $149 refurbished. The beauty of this camera is it has a lens capable of zooming from 24mm to 1200mm.

Stephen. Real nice close-up of the eagle. The trick is, as long as you don't show the bird conservation tags on the feet of these aviary birds, no one needs to know you weren't shooting them in the field out in the Rockies or deep in the jungle : )

I have a great recipe for Fried Eagle! Tastes a little like Spotted Owl.

I've got hundreds of 'bird-feeder' pics, some really good, but don't feel that I can take credit for them. I have a Panasonic camera with a motion detection feature and all I did was set it up with a telephoto on the feeder (actually cluster of three feeders) and come back a few hours later. Is that cheating? Yeah, I guess it is, ehhhh. Anyhow Steve, I've seen some Nat Geo Wild videos of big cats in the wild with visible tags (radio collars) on, so I guess you're ok .
