KorgWorld rip off

A month or so ago someone over here or the Korg forum pointed out the existence of the UK magazine KorgWorld. You could apply for a free copy of the first issue , I was under the assumption it was actually a free subscription.
Yesterday I got the first (complementary ) copy, dated September 2017. A glossy with only 28 pages and basically elementary and totally superfluous information fot those already playing a Korg arranger keyboard. But wait for it.................on the last page you could fill in a subscription form for 4 issues a year at a cost of approx. 50 euros or 60 dollars, postage included.
(you can also do so via their website). So that works out at 15 bucks for each magazine with 28 pages, mainly skimming the surfaces and totally superfluous. What on earth are they thinking at Korg UK, that we are all morons or what ?

You're lucky. Some automatically sign you up and start billing you after the first 'complimentary' copy unless you manually, physically, overtly, cancel. If they ask for a credit card for your 'complimentary' copy, STAY AWAY! (I really think there should be a law against that - to protect those of us who don't read the fine print ).

I also received a several page comp issue, which highlighted the 4X and a few other things. But as said, not enough "sizzle" to interest me further.

What we need are 'tips' like Mel has given (thanks Mel, I'm printing your editions) - the real insider stuff!
