Man, what a way to start a cloudy, raw, Sunday morning ... Great job on this one, Don ... Hard to believe you didn't have a guitar player on that ...
I guess being late at night only made it better ... singer keys

Okay, now you're just showing off smile. Just saw this, loved it. A guitar player locked in a keyboard player's body smile. Can't go wrong with the blues (provided you've got the soul for it; obviously, Don does). Blues is so universal; concert hall or honky-tonk, jazz club or biker bar. You can play it anywhere (except maybe in a nursing home smile ).

I know this sounds like my best friend Donny, but I'd love to hear ANYbody here take a shot at any classic blues tune. Don't worry, we won't be too harsh smile. Just go for it.

Zuki, I don't sing and I've already posted lots of blues tunes, it's one of my favorite genre's. In fact, (sadly) everything I play sounds like a blues smile.

Blues has a lot in common with Country. You must have had your heart broken or your dog stolen to get it!
Thanks guys, glad you liked it. It was the next-to-last song I did last night. The last one was "The Party's Over"! smile
When I got to work about 6:15, the place was already crowded, and it was still crowded at 11:00, but by that time I'd had enough, so Ernest cooked Crawfish E'touffe and made it all worth while! smile

Glad you're back to work and feeling better, Don. Sure wish we could get Crawfish E'touffe up here in the frozen north. Great job on the song, old friend. Loved all those magic runs you made.

All the best,

Gary cool

This is Cajun country, so lots of crawfish dishes. I think I like them fried best. Goes good with Gator Tail!

Gator tail? Must be a huge hit at Saints tailgating feasts?

...but not with veins, arteries, heart valves, etc. You gotta bite the bullet now Don, and tune out all that fried cajun goodness while you chomp down on that steamed kale smile smile.

Don't normally comment on tunes posted here but I must say you need to do more blues Don. This is as good as it gets!

Thank you folks, thank you very much (in best Elvis voice).
Chas, you are "dead" right about the diet. I am doing low carbs again; it is actually what my Cardiologist recommends and has worked well for me before. Had turkey and green beans for dinner today.
Earl, I am very flattered. I do a good number of blues songs, according to the audience.
Rikki, you are so kind!
As for the Gator tails, they really aren't that common up here in North Louisiana, but they are good. I will be having boiled or grilled shrimp, baked or broiled fish, or fried with low-carb batter, steak, certain vegetables, lots of salad, etc. I can live with that. At least I hope so!!!

Altogether professional, and you sound in a good way young and mature! Thank you for sharing!
