Your very welcome, ....enjoyed listening to what Genos can do..don't know how many hear would use it that way but I loved what the filters can do to the sounds. What intrigues me is where Yamaha will be taking genos in the future.....I've learned to sit back & wait on new products as certainly changes will be made to improve it down the road...keep the demos coming some of us really enjoy watching people play and absorbing what they can from it..

Here's a new comparison video between Tyros 5 and Genos. Unfortunately, the sound is not the best, because it's from the camera's mic. This is why I almost did not post it. The guy also has a Pa4X. How lucky can you get? He methodically compares and comments on the same sounds and styles on each:

Good find Mikem. I don’t know what it is about keyboard players trying to play lead guitar over that AC/DC track. They all have sounded weak. Maybe it’s because I play lead guitar so I am more critical.

I’ve had better luck with the 970 lead guitars. Mr. Volken did an admiral job on the Dire Straights 970 demo years back.

You're welcome, jingleman. I find that many people who post videos on YouTube choose the wrong sounds for whatever they're playing, making the keyboard sound bad. Choosing the right sounds makes all the difference, and it's a skill in itself.
