Keeping PA 1000

Keeping PA 1000 - 01/21/18 01:03 PM

Thought it through - warranty, pop up screen, forward technology, speakers, lightweight, add the Konnect, 75% of jobs solved, with great sound smile

There is a sacrifice in sound, but half the people turn off their hearing aids on the first song smile And the 3X, I can go out with either, perfect!

Best to move forward I think. Besides, I do really love some of these new styles, wow. Being able to load 4X is even better.

Ahead, if the 1000 works out, I'll sell the 3X for a 4X 76.

Hopeful to have some videos in near future.

zuki ... the only thing that would have been better would be if you had traded it to me for my Kn6000 ... grin

Seriously, it sounds like it's a great MOTL kb ... best of luck with it and enjoy ...

When I read Zuki’s first post about sending back the Pa 1000, I thought, oh no, what have I got coming? Mine was in transit at the time. I’ve had it a week and it’s a keeper. Love the styles and voices. It sounds great on DAW playback. Still a few issues I can’t figure out, coming from Yamaha. I keep expecting it to be a Yamaha and, of course, it’s not.

Zuki
Try turning off the internal speakers and or trying a differant preset in global eq This might give you the sound you're looking for. They make a huge difference or you can make your own eq. The 1000 probably has better sounds than your pa3 but I am not sure. It's two generations newer. Sometimes we get used to the old sounds and we're not used to the newer ones so we think they're not good. I look at a new keyboard like playing with a new band. Just as good as the old band, just differant.
