With apologies to Irving Berlin - 12/06/17 08:47 AM

Sometimes late at night, I get inspired (bored) and change things around.

Now, that's a different version, for sure. Enjoyed it very much. Is that a self-penned arrangement? Good quality recording. Very crisp and clear.

Nice "jazzy laidback" version.
Into the DonM album it goes. smile

That my friend is the epitomy of "laid back " , sounds truly wonderful and great lyrics. tickling the PA4X I presume ??
Once again, sounds really great !

Thank you lovers of high-class entertainment!
I just made the lyrics up on the spot, a while back.

Don’s point about getting bored and changing things around-----Our group likes to do that on occasion, especially with lyrics. Just to see if anyone’s listening, or to get a reaction. I’m sure lots of musicians do that. Guess it depends somewhat on the type of gig or joint your in.

Years ago with the band in NY we did it all the time ... I sang "My Way" and sometimes it was "I did it 'nine ways', or "I did it 'sideways', or whatever ...

Don, I'd like to hear your version of another xmas classic, 'Clyde, the brown-nose Reindeer' (he was directly behind Rudolph when Rudolph came to a sudden stop).
