Which arranger drums on Summer of '69 - 11/16/17 05:55 PM

Guys:

When I recorded Summer of 69 with the 970 drums...I recorded the drums separately. I wanted to test peoples knowledge of different arranger drums.

Here is the track again with different arranger drums. See if you can guess which arranger!

It’s not a different 970 kit

Very nicely done indeed! There you go, you eventually got it into a Yamaha. Maybe one day you'll inform all of us how you did it as it really opens up the door for all sorts of possibilities.

I guess everyone’s busy with The holidays. So I’ll share which arranger drum track was used. As I stated...when I recorded the 970 (Canadian Rock) track into my daw, I kept the drums on a separate stereo track. My intention was to show different arranger drums played along with the 970 style to see what the differences would be.

Henni was kind enough to supply me with a rock drum groove from his Audya. I shut off the 970 drums and laid the Audya drums along with the 970 tracks.

The Audya drums definitely add a different sound to the track, one that I like.

Again, thanks to Henni for his efforts in helping me with this little experiment.

May have to find a way to add new drum samples to the 970.

Ha!

You had me there - I thought you found a way to import a MP3 into the S970 drums track. Now imagine if that could be achieved.

In any case, nicely done.
