Have you Korg guys had any luck getting good useable results from the midi file to style creator. Could you take a midi file of say...Summer of 69, and get a decent style replication?

Yes, if the midi file is good to start with, the styles come out pretty well. The Tune 1000 files seem to work o.k. You may want to do some editing, such as change drum kits or style part sounds, but overall it is a very useful function.

Don,
So if I had a few good MIDI files of Andrew Lloyde webber music from Phanton as example...I could get use able decent style parts? That would be cool...my PA2XPRO didn't have that.

Has anyone posted some decent examples of style conversions? Would love to hear them.

I asume a good SMF to convert don't have to be complex, but fairly simple and stripped for some tracks to make it work well.
Also need a lot of tweaking and adjustments afterwards to sound fairly good?
Not too much to find on YT or elsewhere that shows result, only instructions about "quick convert" and no playing of the result.
EMC has this function, but lot's of work to make things any good.
