Installing Tyros 5 voice exp. pack on Clavinova?

Hi all,

I recently purchased a style+voice pack made for Tyros 5 thinking it would certainly work on the more recent Clavinova CVP-609, but now I see I may have been a bit hasty as I can't find any menu to load voice expansion pack like on the Tyros.

Does anyone know if this is doable? The file is "TYROS5_PackInstallData.ppi"

My keyboard is Yamaha Clavinova CVP-609pe.

Usually the Clavinova line has everything the latest Tyros has and more. Which is why I just assumed it should work.

PS I am positing here since the Clavinova forum is not frequented often.

The CVP range does not have voice expansion memmory
So you can not install any expansions on them

Its one of the reasons i never went for a CVP
at twice the price of a Tyros 5 (here in euope) you would expect the CVP 709 to have all the features of T5 with piano voices on top of that.

Thanks Bachus! Is there an alternate way to get the sounds in, maybe one by one or does the CVP not accept ANY new sounds?
