Oh God! The 1000 keybed looks awful spongy. It also sounds very tame vs my 3x (got me worried now)

Nice Demo Korg will sell a tons of these Pa1000 units!

If those keys behave like the 900, it'll pack back up. I'll hold out for 4x successor.

Zuki the Pa1000 keys will NOT be like the 3x or 4x for sure..more like the 900.

Then mine will be for sale. I could not deal with the 900. Very hard to press up high. I'm holding out that they are like the 800, which was great.

Why don't you just buy a Pa4x and sell the 3x time to upgrade vs Pa1000

Interesting that the volume levels on the Yamaha songs seem to be higher than the Korg. On purpose?
Both sound good on the Walk of Life style.
I really wouldn't choose one over the other from this video, but when you get into vocal processing and live operating features, the battle is over and the Korg is superior, in my opinion.

ditto Don I thought the same thing the EQ on each is vastly different in this video..

I think I'll try the 1000, hold the 3x until the next biggie comes. I hope to really like the 1000. I got an answer from Korg and they were very high on its sounds. They also felt the keybed might be 900ish - help.

Funny, i just love the keybed on my 900 much better than my yamaha s910 I don't think I would like the touch any harder. It just feels right. If I wanted a harder touch I would have gotten a piano. Just my opinion.

Mel, my point exactly: The 900 keybed seemed too hard to press down at the top of the key. I'm an organist by training and I prefer the softer touch. But hopefully the 1000 will shut me up.
