It is also my wife Susan's birthday, although we are definitely NOT the same age.
Our sons took us out to eat last night, at Outback Steak House, so the celebration is mostly over.
I'm off to play golf!

Thanks guys! It was a good day, except for the golf. The Sheriff gave us a great fish fry with catfish, shrimp, hush puppies, corn fritters, french fries, Peach, Raspberry or Apple cobbler and ice cream! That's two big birthday meals already, so nothing else to eat until ... tomorrow.

Picky, picky, picky. Ok, FEBRUARY 29TH, OK . In any case, your wife has better taste than you (since she thinks I sound like Joey D ).

Wish you were closer, Tony. I want to record some (male vocal) jazz standards with classic organ trio backing (organ, guitar, drums). Only thing that would make it better would be to have Russ on guitar. Hopefully, we'll record a couple of tunes anyway when he comes over.

That could be a plan, Tony. Maybe I could send you a backing track and you can put the vocals on it. The first one may have Roland drums but so what, it'll just be a test track to see if we can do it. I'll make and keep a click track in case I can get a live drummer later on.
