No Easter Sunday gig ... just a wonderful gathering of family in NY lots of friends and family, food, fun, and my first Grey Goose Martini - 3 Blue cheese olives - since the Sunday before Ash Wednesday ... Happy and Blessed Easter everyone ...

Regular country club gig; then a trip to Louisville to start a 30 hour film score for a large Fortune 500 client. Will go from 4:00 PM Sunday until at least midnight Monday. Then, I "caffeine up" and drive back to Lexington.

I think this is my first Easter gig ever.... i'll be playing a brunch at the Anatole hotel in Dallas on their Steinway piano, along with a fantastic acoustic bass/guitarist player and vibraphonist. I plan on setting up my PSR 950 to my left-hand side to play left hand bass and some light drum patterns on some of the tunes. We'll see how that works out!

I will be playing my usual Easter banquet at our huge Cultural Center for three hours. I will use my Pa4X, SSv3, and Logitech sub. My wife is helping with the serving, so we will have a sumptuous meal there afterwards.

No Easter work. I did get called back to action for one night Saturday (tonight). I find myself dreading it rather than looking forward to it. I've had two nice private parties this month, but nothing else on the schedule until another private function in May!

The only "Easter song" on my list for tomorrow is Irving Berlin's "Easter Parade" But I'm not sure if anyone under 100 will even recognize that one lol 😂

I have to unload the Expedition, then set up my stuff at home. First time in a couple of years! Maybe I'll play Peter Cottontail for the grandson! Last night went really well. If I don't go back, it was a great finale!
Happy Birthday, Tony. You finally caught up to me - we're both currently 76 years old, but sure as your born, if I'm still kicking and screaming, though not very high or loud, I'll jump up to the head of the line again come October.
