Trying to go iPad

Trying to go iPad - 03/12/17 06:04 PM

I would like to load and play my SMF on my iPad Air I. I'm looking for the easiest yet best sounding setup. I'm thinking of loading midi files to UnReal Book and then playing them thru Roland SoundCanvas app.

Is this the way to do this? I'm still not into recording songs as MP3, but I'd like to wire this thru the audio IN of my Hammond and eliminate the s950 for most of my sets.

Any advice is appreciated.

Sweet Midi App Great. Lyrics, Sets, Mixer, change instruments and volumes, it has it all.

Android users... WinLive Pro karaoke mobil is the best.
It comes with the best soundset.
Check it out.

Check out this LINK on Keyszone

There is quite some great options, many have some very specific features. Most are free.

I prefer to record my midi files to MP3, then put them in iTunes to play on my iPad through "Anytune Pro+"
I still have control of speed, key and lyrics, when needed.

Dave, I guess that's what I should do. That way I can add harmonies and extra tracks where I want. Unfortunately I'm a lazy bum and don't seem to play often enough to make it worth my while.

I'm thinking of using the SoundCanvas app for my sound engine (anything better?) and then using Sweet Midi to store and play my SMFs. Then I can still do my normal live playing and editing.

Sweet Midi can change in the instruments that are playing the Midi. It also can change the volume of each instrument or mute them.

Cassp, how will you be using -- the SoundCanvas app for your sound engine? Keyboard????

I would like to substitute the sweet instrument with the Canvas. Can't I do that?
