As an entertainer, a 24-inch monitor would be an utter disaster. Many audiences already tend to believe that an arranger keyboard player is nothing more than a glorified Karaoke player, and some don't believe that we are singing. The less that obscures you from the audience, the better!

So then we can asume that Korg will not work this route, but Yamaha might for their arrangers? Because for homeplayers, having a big touchscreen with lots of information and easy accesible would be a step forward, and Yamaha's Tyros design is still firstly aiming at the home players.
But then suchg a screen would definately raise production prices and thats the last thing i expect Yamaha to do...So it will probably stay wishfull thinking or an optional thing for arrangers...
Build in supprt for external touschscreens however could be a great thing for every one... you dont have to use them on stage, but it would allow the developers to make edditing styles and sounds a much more userfriendly thing...
