Thank you for the answer on the e-a7, there is no drawbar mode... Just lots of great drawbar samples... ( which actually now sounds logical, since in their latest range of instruments the drawbar engine was a supernatural sound and the e-a7 does not have supernatural sounds)

The lats Nord electro video shows definately that the Nord electro is build to be fun...

The Nord Electro 5D on under the S970 could be a good little setup for sure..
and control the styles etc, via midi with the NORD that should be possible correct?

Ofcourse... Just make the nord send on the right channel and the s970 receive chords on that channel...

BK9 discontinued ? No mention on the Roland site. I better buy 6 or 7 of them because I'm done chasing the next big thing. For me it's more than enough to cover gigs and the organ section is fun at home. I'm still learning things about it.

If they add the Soundset of the Integra 7, and some more sampling memmory.... and replace the screens by 2 little touchscreens.... make it 9 sliders in the middle.... instead of 4 keyboardsounds add 4 livesets (a liveset contains of 4 sounds) ... and then add 16 drumpads for pads and more to the left.... and 4 limitless pots..

It will be a huge huge hit.. as a TOTL aranger... and they just need to re-use old technollogy... everything in the house.. espescially if they can keep the price somewhere between the BK9 and the PA4x..

Roland still has it all, they just need to put it in a single instrument... If done right it would be a replacement for all Fantom, FA series, Jupiter 80 and Roland BK instrumetns...

For once Roland needs to realise what us musicians want?

I know all that won't happen. why put all that in one board when they can sell two )or three) I'm very happy with the BK9 and can honestly say its the best keyboard I've ever owned. Outside of some of my B3's and my Studio Piano of course.
