A new brand of keyboards comming up from germanny - 04/27/16 01:29 PM

This man is building a new keyboard on top of the very open medelli that Deeback also uses for MAX...

He says the keyboard is based on the wishes of all german keyboardist...

Some bold statements he makes....

- its the instrument that lionstracs should have been, much more reliable and much cheeper
- it can play any type of style, even audio styles...
- it can import sounds from any keyboard...
- it has 16 audio inputs...
- it has an easy mode, but also more advanced tweakable modes...
-it has 4 midi ins and outs
- you can use a 2nd keyboard and controll it all from the screen
- the large screen is Going to replace the small screen..
- the speakers will be removed and more direct controllers will be added
- the low end keybed will be replaced

He is going to build 10 trstunits later this spring..
The keyboard should be done later this year..

This seems to be a Fame keyboard. Fame is sold by Musicstore.com

No its not... He is only using the Fame (which is a rebranded medelli) as the co troller (knobs, buttons) for his own hardware...

more information in this german forum post(choose your own translator software)

The company even seems to have a new type of keybed, where you can change the keyfeel from synth to churchorgan to acoustic piano and everything in between.

More info...
- its not PC based, so no VST..
- there is an actuall 16 voice poly analogue synth inside
- 256 voice polyphony for the sample based synth

Actually the developer is from Switzerland. He has a strong Swiss accent and also mentions that he sampled the organ you hear around 1:50 himself from a church organ in Zurzach, Switzerland. (I hope his other sounds will be more convincing). Anyway, a creative, courageous project...

Ouch! really cheezy sound, hope it doesn't die as fast as the Lionstracs, again specs don't mean a thing without good styles and sounds.
