Still to much substitute for a full arranger... to much emphasis on the piano part....

No multipads (kind of important to me)
and only 2 variations

I don't understand why a 1/4 in. jack for microphone input....sort of cheesy? A $100 mic mixer will have XLR inputs.

Why not XLR inputs for mic? Can't be that much cost difference??

Because its not a professional instrument meant to be used on stage.. its just meant for using at home..

My Korg Pa900 has a 1/4 inch mic impute. It's a great Pro keyboard.

In any case, I have been impressed with our DGX 650. Though I'm not a piano expert as our some.

My PSR S970 goes out as a performing board. I assumed the PSR series(1/4 in jacks) were intended for performing?

This is probably not a subject worth beating to death. Still the XLR thing does make me wonder....can't be a cost issue.
