She was just coming out of rehab and touring with Frankie Beverly when I had my last chance to visit.
She was tired, but came to the door of the venue when I was leaving and said. "Keep learning, but watch out. This business can kill you!"
Every time i run into an obnoxious drunk I remember her advice. I hate it that for the most part, liquor sales is what pays the bill.
