Keep hoping, Bill. Sure, it's all about the bottom line, and Wersi must have an eye on that. So maybe Wersi should produce something along the lines of the 'big boys', then. Keyboards with the size and built-in styles and sounds of Korg, Yamaha, etc., and price them accordingly. From what I've seen of Wersi so far, the price flat out kills them as much as their adherence to ancient organ sounds.
I know there is/was the Pegasus Wing, but that's about as close as they get. But all I hear is hockey rink organs for the most part, and for how much????
Wersi have been around a long time, so I can only suppose they must be comfortable in their niche. Most of us gigging guys wouldn't touch a Wersi with a ten foot bargepole.
The Organs are in the same price brackets as all the other organs on the market, so Wersi has them priced accordingly, plus organs are designed to be played which means the easy play features that are included on arrangers are of less importance. (Fancy styles just get in the way of your playing)
The Wing is priced between the Yamaha S970/PA900 and T5/PA4x and is still selling well (So I have been told), however the last software update was in October 2013 so it is definitely due an update. Currently the focus is on continuing to expand the Sonic Software (The entire R & D of Wersi consists of just 2 people) so V3 is probably still some way off, but it would be nice if they used some of the new sounds and styles developed for the Sonic, (Don’t think we can expect any of the Sonics1GB pianos etc. or any of the advanced features though, as like all arrangers the Wing is designed for easy play)
