S970 MIC settings perimeter Lock not working...???
I set up my initial Mic settings registration with the parameter lock UNCHECKED then I go to function/utility/perimeter lock/ and CHECK mark the Mic box which should hold the Mic setting when I change registrations? But when I look in the Mic Efx section I can see the MIC efx changing when I change registrations!! what am I doing wrong? do I have to save something somewhere else also? or?...I want the Mic efx to stay the same ALWAYS when changing songs.. I usually use a mixer for vocals ....but thought I'd try to eliminate that and go thru the KB but not if it wont lock the Mic settings when I change songs.....

Set up your mic and SAVE as a Custom Vocal Harmony type. I have to load it each time I power on. After that it doesn't change.
Or you can load it into ALL Registrations. Pain in the ass. You could use MB Registration Editor and do all at once. I have tried that.
