We got some more information about the upcomming release..
3 september, the internet campaign will start and they will show some pictures
In oktober there will be the first Demos
The first Units will be shipped in November
The rumors have been confirmed by several insiders (Korg relations and salesmen)
The new PA4x is supposed to have the PCM engine of the Kronos, but wether it will be an updated one that supports DNC and some other PA3X soundfeatures that are not on Kronos is not known.
- if there is an updated HD engine, i hope it will also find its way to Kronos, just can not imagine Korg stepping away from DNC sounds... Many parts of the PA3X PCM soundengine where better then the kRONOS hd1 engine
The above picture is confirmed to be a fotoshop model created by someone that actually saw pictures of the upcomming model.
There will also be some localised versions with extra soundsets and styles for certain markets (Asyrian, Indian, Balkan and German seem most likely)
