Anyone using the Mackie FREEPLAY Speakers system..

The features are certainly there. Question is, how about the sound?

It should sound good in a small room, NH, Cocktail hr. etc,..
The Bluetooth is kool..

Yes it SHOULD. But I just sent back a Centerpoint Space Station that didn't sound like I wanted.
Why don't you buy one or two of them and then report back.

My Nanos 600's are more then enough PA for any gig I do using 1 or 2 right now they are so versatile...

Too bad that Space Station speakers didn't work out for you....
I kind of thought that just by looking at it...

LD Maui has some nice units also...

I would have to seriously try one using my KB and vocals if I ever thought of teh FREEPLAY.....but it could have its place in my arsenal for that small scenario gig where you don't want to setup the big guns and need a littlebit more power then just the S950 speakers alone.

I get restless too often and try to fix thing that ain't broken.
