Outstanding! Col, you have improved incredibly over the past year. It seems as if you have reversed the aging process and getting younger every day. wink

All the best,

Thanks' Gary us old'uns have to stick together, I think The Isle of Innisfree would really suit your voice. This was the favourite song of a great friend of mine who was lead singer in the group I was part of about 50 years back. Unfortunately he lost his voice about five years ago and I've been badgering him to have another go for the last twelve months and although he is improving he's not quite ready to go public yet.

PS he's a real Country "nut" but nobody's perfect smile

Col,

you might be interested to learn that two sons of Dick

Farrelly (the writer of the Isle of Inishfree) are very

successful musicians active in Dublin today.

Gerry plays keyboards in a great Steeley Dan tribute band and is also a fine drummer in other bands.

His brother Dick (Jnr) is a top session guitarist around Dunlin

mainly in the jazz field.

Col, my opinion:
It was preformed exactly the way it should be performed.

No comment other than “GREAT JOB”

Nice job Colin. As far as the keyboard goes, I know that was not Yamaha VH2 harmony. Still using Voice Live Touch?

God Bless,

Hi Frank, Interesting, I thought the song was a lot older than that.

Donny: I have to confess it was a backing track from YouTube.

Don: Yes that was the VLT2 it works very well with backing track to trigger the harmony (One voice a third up)

John: Glad you liked it, it's a fine song.

All the best

Col

PS: My pa800 has just gone "Kaput" it's playing drum sounds over Acc tracks I think I have a severe case of corruption. I've reformatted and reloaded the resources but no avail, it's looks like it's going back to the shop for repair, keep you posted.
