dual kb - 06/15/15 01:14 PM

After following SZ for a few years now, I realize there is a pleathra of information on most brands of keyboards. I am looking to add to my music barn, for which there is loads of room. I have installed a sound studio at one end of the barn. The rest of the main floor is our band practice area. Never realized how much room 8 guys need. Bass, Rhythm, Lead, Drums, Keys, Trombone, Trumpet, Saxophone. Each one of these 3 play multiple brass, woodwind. I am thinking of adding a Crumar Mojo duel kb. Any thoughts would be greatly welcomed. only weighs 40 lbs. Italian manufacturer

I found this discussion from 2011 in a big German musicians' forum:
http://www.musiker-board.de/threads/crumar-mojo.456243/

It seems to be quite a rare, exotic manufacturer, as hardly any German store lists it. Seems to be a niche product.

Probably the best B3 clone is currently the MAG P series..

http://www.magorgans.com/?box=the-p-series

Its custom build to perfection in Germany and based on the HX3 module, and at a price comparable to the Crumar..

Also the Nord C2D and the UHL X3-2(based on the same HX3 module)

And dont forget about the midi based version of the Crumar, the GSI XM122..

They are all european builds, the B3 cloning scene is quite large in europe...

Here a nice video of the UHL X3-2 in action

It has the same action and sounds build in as the MAG organ, but the mag organ has all 4 sets of drawbars of the orriginal B3
