Dance Salsa with J.S.Bach - 02/14/15 07:26 AM
This rhythm came to my mind when I played Bach's Invention No.14...just shift it a bit away from the '1' (beat-wise). Some traditional Bach fans may disprove of it...

Thank you. There are several self-recorded backing tracks involved. The drums plus bass are Yamaha MoXF preset, but self-made tracks are second piano, nylon guitar and the brass section, which sometimes picks up parts of the main melody line of the Invention and sometimes just throws in short chords fitting to the respective harmony.
I really think the figures of this Invention invited to turn it into a Salsa, it doesn't sound far-fetched to me (unlike the German pop ballad i turned into a Salsa some days ago).

Just noticed the audio is not 100% synchronic to the video, although I used a Sony HDR-MV1 with line-in. Has to be due to how Youtube processed it. Very annoying, esp.if viewers think the piano is not played live!

It is synchronic via desktop/PC, but not via iPAD. Youtube has been causing all kinds of problems during the past 2-3 weeks, slowly loading pages, incompatible page display on mobile browsers etc., I don't know what they are presently doing or changing.
