Sounds great to me. Not sure real harmony singers would be able to time the lead voice as well as this does, like on "Come on baby meet me outback..."

Personally, I would increase the bass and volume on the backing a bit, and maybe decrease the volume on the harmony a tad ...
I fall victim to having the harmony too loud sometimes ...

A fun song, done well. Not my style at all, but, over the years, played a lot of these kinds of songs to pay rent and tuition.

I do quite a few Brooks and Dunn song. One of them is from Shreveport, where I live, and the other is from Tulsa, where I grew up.
Boot Scootin' went to number one country song in 1992, and B&D are the number 1 selling duo of all time. Seems a few people like their music!
Asleep At The Wheel actually released the song a year or so before B&D.
