I returned one to Sweetwater. They will probably discount it since they can't sell it for new. Frank sells new ones for less than a lot of people want for used ones though!

A BK9 just sold on Ebay for a little more than $1,400

That's a good price! Best price I found new was a little over 2K shipped.

I have the feeling that BK9 will become more popular as time goes by. Just as with G70. Seems to be Roland's story.
Maybe we should expect a version 2 soon...

The Roland sound is totally up to date... BK9 is a great keyboard...

However, the soundset still lacks beyound the FA06, which lags behind the Integra-7

I would have loved to see an arranger build around the Integra-7 sounds...


Myself i bought a use FA08 in almost brandnew condition for €1100, at a dealer
I would guess a used BK9 should be around €1300

It probably won't help unless you are in Europe, but Thomann has a B-ware BK-9 on offer and just lowered the price to 1609 Euros:
