A drum machine in a stompbox. Does anyone play just using the drum section of their arranger? Would this be useful to any of us?

Cassp, these things are great for solo guitar players that sing. I used to have a Roland programmable drum machine about 30 years ago - it was great when I was playing my 12-sting and singing country songs to the ladies in a smoke-filled bar.

The drum section of our arranger keyboard...is an excellent drum machine...I often use the G70 as a drum machine and a manual bass (left hand)..to go with the Rhodes patch..

When I accompany the soloist I work with, in the Christmas season we have some swing songs like 'Let it snow'. Then I only play pure piano together with a swing drum rhythm.
I have been watching this unit start up for about 6 mo I think they are building Capitol to produce this unit by having a pre sale. All in all it looks interesting. Esp if you are a guitar player I might pick one up .
