Instrumental reggae - 09/03/14 04:14 PM

After zapping into a documentary about Jamaica on TV, I decided to try the intro of a Bob Marley reggae on my Yamaha MoXF. It's also a musical goodbye to summer, which disappeared much too early: already on August 10th in my part of Germany... Not one day over 75F since that date, very bad August.
Although I tried to catch almost every detail of Bob Marley's reggae groove, the singing, especially the background choir, are really missing:

That's not bad at all . Watch quantise choice though . It stifled the bounce of the rhythm a little . But good effort .

That's right, I haven't quantized yet. Sometimes the short organ chord shifts a bit between straight and ternary. The drum breaks are also not precisely on time. It's still "work in progress". Thanks for the comments.

BTW, the reggae has had the intended effect. After 4 weeks of fall, we are back to 77F and sunshine here in Westphalia (at least for one day) ;-)
