If you use MP3 music files and have hundreds of them loaded how to you get the volume of each to be equal so your not constantly reaching for the volume control.

Pretty much all the MP3 players available have some form of auto levelling tool in them. WMP, iTunes, Winamp VLC etc etc. You just need to make sure you set it as it is set to off as the default setting.

It still needs riding though... some tunes are SUPPOSED to be a bit quieter.
If there's an option to do entire albums in one go and keep the inter-track volumes relatively the same, that's the way I'd go.
