Anyone here using an M-Audio Keystation 88es in their set up? If so.., care to share any thoughts on the unit., pros/cons..?

I know we're arranger players.., but controllers are owned by quite a few here too ;-)

Dan, I used it's big brother for a couple years in the band..It was the Sono 88..It had sounds on board..The premium sounds were good, the GM sounds were weak..
It had a decent touch, not like a piano, but semi weighted, better than most of the synth touch beds..

The big pain about the M-audio 88's they are 54 inches wide..cases are hard to find..and trasport in small cars ..impossible..

Thanks for the response Fran. Portability would not be an issue for me as it would be used for home use. My biggest concern is reliability. M-Audio had some quality control issues with some of their controllers. The 88es seems to be getting good reviews.

I need an 88 key controller and semi-weighted is what I am looking for as well. The lack of controllers on the 88es is not an issue for me either as I'm planning on purchasing a Korg nanoKONTROL Pad (v2) this week. I just need to know if this 88es will hold up to every day home use.
