S950 Total MP3 data storage PER FOLDER?

What is the amount of Mp3 storage data LIMIT per folder you can put in on the USB drive...for example 3G, 4G, 5G, each etc,..
I know there is a limit but if you go over a certain amount an ERROR message usually shows up and wont let you open the folder.

Did you format the thumb drive on the S950..first..

I downloaded the manual and that is what it said...question answered..

There is a limited number of files and folders that can be stored in the Root Directory. With the PSR-3000 it is 70 files or folders, and each folder could contain up to 150 files if I recall correctly. Not sure about the S-950.

Of course, you can have additional folders with folders, which makes the number very high for a 3-gig drive.
