Woould I buy one? Maybe. Would I trade up from my Compact to an L1s? Probably not; it's still $1800 or more...

I'm not sure that I would buy one. Currently, I use a compact on most gigs. I use the L1 Model 1 with 1 or 2 B1's for larger and outdoor venues and use the Compact as a stage monitor. I like that I can control the eq and volume of the L1 M1 separatly with the remote very easily - that can't be done with the L1s or for the Model 2 for that matter.

This looks interesting certainly a more budget oriented version...nothing in Oz at the moment though. But this is not surprising as it was a good 9-10 months after the Compact was released in the US that we saw it in Oz...
