47th anniversary...

Leaving the office for a dinner with Annie...our 47th anniversary.

She says it's the music business. If I'd been home every evening, she'd have kicked my ass out 45 years ago.

Even so, I'd get a food taster.....you know, just to be on the safe side. I won't eat anything my wife makes without testing it on the dog first. So far, I've had to take him to the Vet three times this year. Coincidence? You decide.

My wife Kathleen celebrated her 48th last month...

Congrats to all..........especially in today's world........you need four marriages to achieve that many yrs.......I have a 30th coming next.

If your wife has to cook your 47th anniversary dinner, you might not get a 48th!

It is always nice to hear about long Marriages. It says a lot about you and the Mrs.

Congratulations Russ. If you take her out to a fine restaurant for dinner, be sure that you're sitting there when the food arrives - just to be on the safe side.

A half-century of nuptial bliss for me next month. Just goes to show that for some unexplained reason, some good looking women seem to be attracted to crazies.

My better half has put up with me for 52 years and at least for now, I'm relatively safe. My insurance policy won't get her very far... LOL and for now, she's the one with the money.

wife and I were celebrating our 40th anniversary.

All these long marriages, it seems there are a lot of real

Belated Congrats Russ. 47 years with the same person is something to be proud of. I know she deserves a metal.



For me Aug 10 1968 was a long time ago, but I remember it like yesterday. 44 years later, she's still my best friend.
