The new version of vArranger is just released with the very expected feature SONG CHORDS EXPORT TO MIDIFILE

It is now possible to create accompaniments midifiles quickly and easily!

To do this :

- Load a style
- Go to OPTIONS / SONG CHORDS
- Enter your song chords on the grid, using your midi keyboard or mouse.
- Click on EXPORT TO MIDIFILE to generate the MIDI file

You can then open it in any professional MIDI sequencer or DAW, and start from this base to simplify work.
Add VST, Audio tracks ... and burn your CD

Cool ? It was a lot of work smile

Can you also record those chords in real time?

Thanks Dan, I downloaded the FREE update this morning and so far it works
flawlessly.

Bachus, there is an option to save chords in songs you play. I have not used this function yet but maybe Dan will explain exactly what it does and how to use it. vArranger has so much to work with it takes a bit of time to learn it all.

Deane, you really have to check out this feature.

It is very simple.

Just load one of your styles (exp all the things you are.sty) and click on OPTIONS / SONG CHORDS.

Then clik on the first time of the grid, and play the first chords with the KB. Then do the same for all the chords of your song.

When finished press PLAY SONG to hear the style chords played by the computer.

Then press SAVE SONG and check the box SONG CHORDS.

So now, every time you load this song, the chords are still there, associated with this song/style.

Then, you can see on top of the arranger's variations A B C D, a button called vRIFF.

At anytime, when you play the song All the things you are with the arranger, if you don't want to play the chords, just press this button.

=> the computer is playing the chords, and you can now play music with your 2 hands free !

When you want to take again the control of the chords, just press again vRIFF.

It is very very simple. Just try it, and let me know.

Hi Dan,
so happy to see you added this function.
Will make it so simple to create a backing track recording.
Your program just keeps getting better.

Hi Dan,
that sounds like a great feature.

I'll try it out when I get a chance.

I'm just so pleased you have the Song function working.
Something i'll hope to use a fair bit.
