Korg MicroArranger: SD Memory Card Recommendation

Korg MicroArranger: SD Memory Card Recommendation - 12/30/11 10:19 PM

In anticipation of my Korg MicroArranger arrival later next week, I'd like some suggestions on what brand, capacity, & speed type SD Card is best recommended on the MicroArranger.

I don't think there's a limit on the supported SD memory size, but because the Korg MicroArranger card storage doesn't support "sound or audio files", but only much smaller file types (SET;GBL;PRF;PCG;STY;MID;Kar;JBX),
I would expect that even a 4GB card would probably offer MORE storage than you would ever actually require. Considering that though, I'd probably go with an 8GB card because it doesn't cost much more.

The Korg MicroArranger Specs state:

"You can use the following types of cards to save or load data to and from the microArranger's internal memory:

* SD (High Speed, Ultra II, SDHC)
* MMC
* MicroSD with an SD adapter
* MiniSD with an SD adapter

note: the microArranger supports SD cards with a power supply voltage of 2.7 - 3.6V."

Though I'm probably going to go with an 8GB SD card, I'd still like to know what brand(s), Class, & speed type (high Speed, Ultra II, SDHC) is best recommended for the Korg MicroArranger.
Which SD card are others here successfully using on their Korg Arranger(s)?

How about this one?
SanDisk 8GB SDHC (class 4) $2.56 wow!

Thanks.

The Sandisk you noted is the one I use in my Zoom Q3HD (as recommended by Bernie9 [thanks Bernie!])and it does an excellent job.It was also quite inexpensive here in UK!

Until I purchase a new one 8/16G I successfully used my 2G Mini SD card w/ Sandisk adapter with no problem top load 200 SMF songs with ease on the Micro Arranger.
