Telmo you might like this - 11/12/11 12:10 AM

This isnt just for Telmo but i was looking through some youtube clips and discovered this guy. You will see the similarities to Telmo when you hear what he does. He is absolutely amazing and has produced some of the most stunning demos i have ever heard on any keyboard and here he is using an ancient (in technology terms ) yamaha 2100. Everything has been produced on the keyboard, no external modules no daw no editing software. All the sounds come from the internal sounds on the keyboard edited by the gentleman using the features within the keyboard.

This for me is just amazing and i hope you enjoy it as much as i have.

Some really nice arrangements he is got there. Its amazing and inspiring to see musicians who tend to get most out of their instruments, even though it may not be the latest in the business. He is able to do it on a PSR 2100 !! It kind of pops a question to some of us : Do we really need to upgrade to the next version ? wink
Just imagine if Jerry were to get the most out of the T4 .. Awesome smile

Same applies to the Yamaha PSR9000...
I have searched out most of the goodies within it and after 6 years I still find something else which is amazing.
Probably the most underused feature of a number of PSR's is the DSP from which you can get the most wonderful tweeking of existing voices.........
Actually it was "pipelinerr" (yes that's how he spells it) who introduced me and many hundreds others to this phenomenon. He spent a number of hours doing a demo CD of tweeks he had come up with and I bought it from him..I still use it to this day. Some of the members of this forum may remember the SVPWorld forum of a few years ago which was a goldmine of such tweekers?Pipelinerr was a member. Unfortunately of course the forum was disbanded a long time ago.
Can we get some similar thread going on Nigel's forum?

Hi Spalding,
Thanks for posting this great stuff, this kid is a humble talented musician. That's come to prove the old saying: "... Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere." I've just subscribed to his channel. He is from India, and as you know, India is far poorer than the poorest African countries combined and that poverty is worse in India not just in number but also in intensity. And yet, inspiration and creativity looms large. Therefore, he has my sincere respect.

Wow, that is beautiful music, second one is better performed to my ears. Wonderful! I don't even remember a 2100, I had a 2000, I guess it was successor.
