Dedicated to Larry and Dnj - Star Wars on Tyros4 - 05/13/1108:12 AM
Hi everyone, This is Star Wars Soundtrack, which was suggested from Larry and Dnj. Although I never watched any of Star Wars episodes, I’ve learned to like its Soundtracks since then. Therefore, I wish to thank Dnj and Larry for inspiring me to learn these tunes. And also thanks for those who will make time to watch. Have you all a Happy journey, SynthZone Forum Members. Greetings from Brazil, Telmo.

Telmo, thanks for taking us on another magnificent Tyros 4 musical journey. The only neg comment I might make is some audio distortion heard in a couple of spots. Otherwise a perfect performance. What I find fascinating is Tyros 4's ability to create just about any musical genre imaginable, from baroque classical, orchestral film music, to country & blues to jazz, hip hop, dance and beyond

I Am Honored!
I appreciate it so much, as does my nephew who is a huge Star Wars fan. I sent him the YouTube link, and he was simply amazed at the quality of your performance. He said someone should send this to John Williams. I'm sure he would be proud. We have both saved this video in our favorites.
Again...I thank you very much for this wonderful production. Your videos are an inspiration.

Telmo, EXCELLANT My friend...just Excellant! Very nice medley, and I enjoyed it all....You especialy did a nice job transitioning from one piece to the next. I love that kind of music and I am so glad I got you started with the ALW songs ect, and then others followed....I would have even requested that too, but I did not want to use up all my rrquests!
Glad to see others requesting and enjoying the same kind of arranger play I like too.
I am convinced the T4 in the right hands can do everything I need...I may have to add some things, like you have but of course I can. I have my PA2XPRO for sale and when I sell it...soon after I will be getting T4.
Your playing and the way you use T4 has helped me come to that conclusion.

Bloody brilliant Telmo. You should be doing movie soundtracks. The studios could save a fortune having you replace an entire orchestra and conductor. Enjoy your offerings as much as watching the Brazil football team!

As a true follower of all things Star Wars - I LOVED it. That music is so beautiful, that even without the terrific story and effects, it will remain a classic in American music forever.

Since Telmo uses custom pads, style and voice patches, I wonder what this recording sounds like on a T-4 [and other arrangers] without those patches. I suspect pretty good on a T-2,-T-3, and T-4 but maybe not so good for others. Maybe he can upload the original midi recording to see what happens in various boards...along with perhaps the MP3?
Side question: Does anyone have a Windows method of recording or extracting sound only from a video and save as an MP3? I have Acoustica that does a decent job of recording direct from pc sound, but I'm curious as to other methods.
Sorry Telmo...your Post has been somewhat hijacked, so I'll repeat...THANKS FOR YOUR LATEST...IT'S THE GREATEST!

Hi Larry
This program set should do everything you want. (Download the full package as it really is a complete suite)

Hi Telmo
Once again a fantastic performance, however I have to say, you are way beyond an arranger keyboard (Even though the T4 is one of the best out there) and should really be looking into using a DAW, or going for a full computer software solution, as this would give you really stunning sounds and flexibility as well as allow you to make the most of your own patches.
NOTE: This is not a criticism of the T4, but applies to all hardware arrangers no matter what the make.
Once again, a brilliant performance and I look forward to many more.

Hope this helps

Hi Bill, I'm not sure what program you are referring to.
Ian and Don, Thanks for the links. They both do the job, but the pop-ups can be a little annoying. I guess it comes with the price.
Telmo, Thanks for the your Star Wars MP3 link. It's now on my MP3 player.

I was curious...so today I put on some of my Star Wars videos...and I found this performace of Telmos and sound quality from the T4 outstanding as compared to the real orchetral performace.
I put it on, turned up my speaker system...VERY LOUD, and played this without watching Telmo's video at all (not that that is any issue) WOW....VERY impressive. it really sounds like a real orchestra playing this...you can even easily pick out instruments and they sound great together.
I have not heard ANY keyboard do this even close to this well. I especially love how the horns soar above and in just the right balance. Telmo...once again very well done
I would love to have someone with a PA3 try to do this...it would be cool to compare the sound.
