Very interesting.
What's the name of the Virtual Machine your using?

I'm also curious as to what benefits you are getting from doing this since the Groove will run Windows applications anyway.

Do you have access to the MS MIDI IN and OUTS on Windows?

If yes, we can run vArranger on the windows partition, and the sound is produced by the LINUX MS

One thing I noticed is that the GUI of something like Cubase is NOT designed to be used with a touch surface. I saw many attempts to hit tiny buttons that all sit next to each other getting wrong results, or unrecognized input.

I'd say something like a full sized trackball like this http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-Expert-Optical-Trackball-64325/dp/B00009KH63/ref=dp_cp_ob_e_image_0 would be a more reliable input source.

Hells Bells,

At least someone bought a Groove 61, wonder what colour, two of the happiest people in the World, someone selling a MS and someone buying a MS, anyway I'am off now to watch some paint dry.

The sensors on the screen are closer than an Iphone and there are a pig to use, worse if you are old, the MS is not for old people.

Trosha,

You bought the MS you have entered the World of never never land, I don't think anyone on SZ arranger has a MS if so only a few, what does the MS manual say. You are at the cutting edge of technology way beyond most KB. Perhaps another forum.

Hi Trosa....

Lionstracs OS is purely based on Linux, so will not run in the native Windows OS.

Secondly the OS will NOT run on any hardware, other than Lionstracs keyboards. The software has a hardware checking routine that stops the install if Lionstracs hardware is not detected.
