Music Notation Question

I am playing the guitar parts on my G70 for the musical production of Bye Bye Birdie at a local school in my hometown. The score has some chord notations that I'm not sure about. What is D with a little superscript "o" 7? How about D with a small superscript triangle 7? How about D with a small subscript triangle 7? I'm sure someone here knows the answer. Thanks,

"Talk to me" .... written so well, even Dick Van Dyke sounded great on it! It's a beautiful melody, and when the barbershop harmonies come in ...... ahhhhhh - even better.
BTW - I like DVD, but I don't think of him when I think of great singers!

actually that's incorrect, if as you said before there is also '7'.

That means it's a DIMINISHED SEVENTH chord. It looks similar but in fact it's not really....it has a diminished seventh on top beside the diminished fifth.

A diminished triad will work too, but the harmony will be incomplete and not intended as on the sheet.

When I play a diminished chord it is always 1 b3 b5 b7. That way I only need to know three of them.
